Worked for Superior Global Systems out of Texas 2 years ago--hired full-time, benefits, etc. HR said there was tons of work and that soon the real "floodgates would open" and there'd be even more work on a new account for which they were hiring. Ha! There was no work. Period. Supervisor stated there had just been a "lull" in new account work just as I was hired, but it would be resolved shortly...it was resolved all right--after "working" or scrambling/"fighting" with other newly hired fools to grab a single report after typically waiting an hour or so for one to 'pop up'-- some lucky one of us would get the privilege to edit 100 lines of 'jibberish,' sometimes taking a half-hour to edit, for $1.00. Yes, $1.00 for one-half hour's worth of work. Kid you not. One made between about 0-$40 per 8-hour shift, typically. I lasted about 3 months, was the last one of about 8 of the newly hired to finally leave. Three TL's quit the account in the 3 months I was there, each one getting tired of having to explain to all of us why there was no work. Talk about adding 'insult to injury'--when you finally became wise to the fact that editing one report would likely take a half-hour and you'd make but a lousy dollar and didn't want to do it, the only remaining TL, one from another dept. who dared to do the task that soon no others would do--would call you and threaten to 'write you up,' etc., if you did not do the half-hour-long $1.00 report! Every time I see an ad from these miscreants, my skin crawls a little bit.
