Webmedx CEO email made me angry - disgruntled

Got a company-wide email from our CEO patting us on the back for being #1 KLAS ratings and calling us "amazing, impressive, the best in the business". I must be missing something because I really can't understand why I'm making less than last year, they plan to cut my wages even more soon, and they have just made my insurance unaffordable. Is that REALLY the way to treat employees you feel that way about? I don't want a pat on the head and empty praise, as if I'm a child or a puppy! SHOW us we matter. Actions speak louder than words.

Welcome to the world of VR. My company praised us that we did so well, then raised the number of lines we had to do on VR for incentive pay. I was really steamed.

If we're so wonderful and "the best," please tell me why we have suffered so much loss of income in the past year. Tell me that Mr. CEO!

Less income, more out of my pocket in insurance, very UNreliable work flow. Meanwhile, they are getting awards off our backs. I am beyond disgusted and I have finally had enough.

In 2 years they have completely ruined what used to be a decent and fair company.

That email infuriated me, also. We know we are good, we know we are remarkable. So why can't you be a remarkable employer and take care of the ones who are making you look good? Pay us well for our knowledge and experience. Stop taking and taking and taking, while expecting more and more in return.

How about a 401k contribution? EVER? - put money where mouth is!

They NEVER match our 401k, or even give us one red cent in profit sharing. They NEVER give us a raise. They NEVER give us a Christmas bonus! But we are supposed to be grateful to have a job and wiggle with pleasure for empty praise for our own excellence? Prove it on our paychecks! Or go spin your propaganda to the media and stop insulting us!

I do way too much work free for this company! Well, I don't know if the pool our area was sent because of NJA is affecting that regions MTs, but I for one want to say thank you God for sending me some absolutely marvelous, clear and concise easy dictation!!!! I have been sending things in and actually getting some changes made here and there. If we all did it maybe we could help ourselves out at least a little bit. I've worked at a hospital doing transcription and getting an hourly wage, and I've also done transcription at home. At-home was not a good experience for me. I about went bankrupt, but the good thing is that I have more experience now. I'm trying to decide whether to go back to a hospital and get an hourly pay or work from home again... This is working for an MTSO who only hires full-time employees, but yet again NJA most of the day today. We do not have to punch a time clock, but is this really legal? This company may "route" you jobs at any time of day and they require you to be "available" from 7 AM to 5 PM, whether there is work or not. If the work is routed to you though, you best be there (available) to do the work or else you get the nasty grams from the owner. Again, IS THIS LEGAL? ...
