Anyone test for this company and find their multiple choice test to be pretty cheesy? Something seems odd about it. I listened to a couple of the dictations..pretty poor quality. I wonder if all of their work is like that. ...

Lately, I have transcribed many reports where the doctors use the word pee instead of void or urinate. Also they have used threw up or throwing up instead of vomiting. Also I had one doctor say the patient had number 2 instead of bowel movement. This to me is so unprofessional. These are not even the right words for lay-people to use. Are they not teaching the correct terminology in medical school anymore? I get the urge to change the words to the proper ones ...

In the last couple of months I've noticed that my fingers seem sore to touch. It happens in random areas, sometimes on the pads of the fingers, sometimes along the middle of the fingers when I grip my iPod Touch or hold my coffee cup. Mostly it seems to be superficial and in the skin. Definitely not an arthritis-like pain. Some days it's been harder to transcribe because of this.
