Any information on FutureNet Technologies? Good or Bad company to work for??

Futurenet split off their VR and straight transcription work. Naturally everybody wants straight transcription work and that part of the company is WAY overstaffed, so you will be OOW often. Good company other than that.

To All FutureNet MTs:

A new protocol has been implemented effective today. Anyone who is not meeting the daily requirement of 500 lines will be receiving a email from me on a daily basis. This will also apply to those who do not meet the minimum requirement of 5,000 lines per pay period.

What has prompt this is, every morning when I come in I get a spreadsheet that lets me know which accounts that are out of TAT. With the work being so sporadic for the past few weeks, we still have several accounts that are not meeting TAT.

It is very important that you communicate with me if you are running out of work. Please do not wait until I send you a email asking about your production.

Anyone who is consistently not meeting production pool will be removed and it will be up to myself and work flow to determine if there is enough work for you.

The emails can be prevented so long as you are close to and or meeting production.

Several emails have gone out today for those who did not meet 500 lines yesterday. For those of you who typed 400 plus lines, I did not send you a email this time because you were close enough. However, please do not get comfortable with that amount of lines. As I mentioned above, the minimum requirement for those of you working 4 hours a day is 500 lines.

If any of you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I agree. Mostly ESLs and very unstable work load. Run out of work too often.

Is anybody getting enough work from this company (FutureNet Technologies Corp.) to make a living lately? Not sure what is up with them. They have several ads again but there is absolutely no work for us long timers. Suspect they are hiring newbies and paying less to get the work done. BTW, do not ever expect an increase in line rate. You will NEVER get one. Also do not expect to attain those bonuses they talk about in the ads - they have now made it impossiible to reach that level by maknig work unavailable, once you get close to making the bonus you can expect to see no work available ...

Wondering if anyone on here uses FutureNet (possibly the glitchiest, most annoying transcription software ever created). I use it at work. When I started using it, it seemed to have a pretty good medical dictionary in it -- recognized all the medical terminology and almost all of the drugs, so I ASSUMED that all that was included. I recently went back there part-time to supplement my day job after quitting because I got real tired of the highly fluctuating work flows. My husband really pushed me to do this because we needed the extra money. Once again, there is never any work for me to do, and yet they are hiring again? Saying they need 2nd and 3rd shift?
