I have just received an email to contact this company for an MT position. I've not heard of this company and would like to hear from anyone who has worked for them - and what you think about working for them...any info appreciated.

I got an email from them last night and set up an interview today. It was on yahoo messenger. I thought that was weird so I was googling like crazy while they were interviewing me. I did copy the whole "interview" into a word document and saved it including the email address of whoever it was and their messenger ID. I actually called the company they claimed to represent and the company said they would never do a yahoo interview. It sounded waaayyyy too good to be true ($22 an hour Monday through Friday-hello! No MT job exists like that, I've been doing this for over 15 years). Anyway, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. They wanted all of my personal information including bank account but wouldn't call me. When I asked if we could speak in person they said sure and I haven't heard from them.

Is anybody getting enough work from this company (FutureNet Technologies Corp.) to make a living lately? "You might want to consider re-wording your job posting and re-think your position as you can find yourself in serious trouble with the IRS regarding requiring an independent contractor to work a set schedule. You are wanting an employee, not an independent contractor, if that contractor has to work a set schedule and 'has to work over.' Yeah for sure. what goes does it do to send resumes to these jobs posted here, when you get NO response... I realize they have more resumes than they can probably go through, but when they look at the top of your resume (where it should be) and see you have had over 25 years experience - you think they'd contact you first, yeah whatever.
