Is anybody getting enough work from this company (FutureNet Technologies Corp.) to make a living lately? Am I the only person finding such a drastic lack of work at all hours of the day and most days of the week? For the record, I work on multiple accounts. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Both the traditional transcription work and speech recognition work is drastically lower in volume over the last couple of months, and not just occasionally. Thanks for any information, as I need to make a decision quickly about what to do.

Futurenet NO WORK - Long Time MT

There has been no work at this company for over a year and the problem is this--when they lose a client instead of telling the people who work on it, "We're sorry, but we've lost your account and we have to let you go," they say, "If you need another account let us know and we'll put you on a different account." THe problem with that is it takes work away from the people who are already assigned to that account." Thank God I have an outside job to depend on. I was trying to keep this for retirement but I haven't even hit $100 a pay period in the last few months so I'm on my way out.

Work has been slow since arround June. I work on mulitple accounts/platforms editing/transcribing and often work Sat (my only day off) and at odd times to get as many lines as is possible. I asked for another account, but there really isn't any other work avaible during my shift. I love the company and the people, just wish there was more work availble during my shift.

It seems like the available work has decreased rapidly in the last two months, but it has been a steady decline. If you follow the e-mail updates, there's really no work most of the day. I'm not sure why the company keeps insisting that we even give them a set shift to work. I often work hours outside my designated shift and still can't find much work. Like you, I work multiple accounts. This company doesn't care about anything but TAT and there are various reasons why there is no work, all of which have been discussed in previous posts about this company.

Not sure what is up with them. They have several ads again but there is absolutely no work for us long timers. Suspect they are hiring newbies and paying less to get the work done. BTW, do not ever expect an increase in line rate. You will NEVER get one. Also do not expect to attain those bonuses they talk about in the ads - they have now made it impossiible to reach that level by maknig work unavailable, once you get close to making the bonus you can expect to see no work available ...

Wondering if anyone on here uses FutureNet (possibly the glitchiest, most annoying transcription software ever created). I use it at work. When I started using it, it seemed to have a pretty good medical dictionary in it -- recognized all the medical terminology and almost all of the drugs, so I ASSUMED that all that was included.
