Transtech doesn't bother to contact you if you fail their test? - crickets

Is Transtech one of those companies that doesn't bother to contact you if you fail their test? Or do they eventually let you know one way or the other? It has been a couple of weeks since I have tested and haven't heard a peep.

Don't know if anyone contacts you when you fail or otherwise - are not right for the job. It stinks! NM

I tested probably 3 weeks ago at least and have not heard anything. Yeah, I think they should have the decency to send something either way. I thought the test was easy. If I failed, don't know how. Obviously they weren't interested though.

that they haven't had a chance yet. Just a thought. Contact them and ask, you'll more than likely get an honest answer. Good luck. If you are hired/interviewed, they are a very fair, honest company.

Give them a call or send followup email. That is what I did after I tested with them, and now I couldn't be happier.

They won't talk to anybody unless they pass the test. If you do get in you are talked to like a teenager who got in late for everything. The facilities do audits and you may NOT reply to them, got one where the "wrong" item was a semicolon, and the "right" item was a semicolon!! You can go back and listen and if it's wrong, which is frequently is, and you say anything they just say it's for the facility, not for them. QA - bunch of ******* on a power trip, no kidding. If one of them does something questionable and you ask them about it, you are told it's their way (no written way to do it either as far as how they do things - such as telling you an abbreviation in the books is slang) and the message is passed around to everybody in the company and you get a letter from the lady who runs it telling you off in front of everybody and never once, not once, will anybody ever take your side. So it's their rules, which you don't know, you don't go by BOS at all, you should know how to do it without asking because if you do you're an idiot. For Texans, they are the most unhappy people I've ever seen.

I took the Medquist test again today, but I don't expect the perfection they seem to demand. I actually got an RLP (real live person) at Medquist to speak to me about testing 2 weeks ago. She was a little help. She said they have 1,000 take the test monthly so no wonder they are not interested in any particular transcriptionist. I suspect, though, that only 20/1000 pass it. Took the MQ test, didn't find it to be all that awful, I guess... so how long after you submit it do you find out if you passed or not? But if in that email it states any questions, please let us know and you email them back with questions and now 2 weeks later, you still have not received an answer back. Last year I failed an audit, barely and was out on 100% QA for 6 weeks after 1 email from TSM and no responses afterwards until suddenly I was off and back to regular work. Later I was transferred to another TSM. Wednesday I got an email that after multiple complaints from a specific doctor, all his reports were 100% QA and my report had failed the audit (barely).
