I just received a call from the CEO stating that they were "making tough decisions" and I was to finish what I was doing and then I was laid off. They immediately cut off my access to email, the SGS site with the timesheet and Spark.

I too got an abrupt phone call yesterday. Position eliminated effective immediately. No access to time sheet or email or Spark.

I, too, was "laid off" unceremoniously on 5/20/14. No phone call, no warning. I logged in for my shift, completed two reports, and was suddenly locked out of the system. Had to call THEM to get the news.

Then, they misreported my hours/earnings to unemployment, so my claim is being held up. Going on a month with no income here. Thanks, SGS.

This is why I forward all pertinent and interesting - company emails to my personal email. nm

My thoughts exactly!!! I would have hit the delete button immediately - and dumped that report.

...but it was largely due to the fact that I was only 8 minutes into a 40 minute job and there was no way I could stay focused at that point.

They are the worst!! I hated them. - nm

So sorry this happened but at least you got a phone call, I logged on one morning with Webmedx to an e-mail that my services were no longer required after I had been hired for a specific account that had been lost (I have over 30 years experience) and then no one in the company would answer the phone when I tried to call for an explanation. They did me a favor though because I found a great job and then Webmedx sold out.

Passed their tests. They wrote me a congratulatory email and a phone call that told me I passed. Told me I needed Word 2003 (do you know how HARD it is to get Word 2003 anymore?). I recently interviewed for this company. Spoke with a recruiter and hiring manager. They were offering 2nd and 3rd shifts. They provide 12 PTO days per year to be used after the first 3 months, 401 K, and benefits. The accounts they offered me were 100% domestic; however, they do off-shore some of their other accounts.
