Well, everything is all set. I have all my reservations and my travel plans set. Leaving tomorrow at noon, meeting the team on Monday morning at 8:15. I'm scared to death!! Besides this being my first filight EVER, I'm nervous about the second test that I'll have to take - I'm hoping that I pass!

What kind of test? Make sure you pack a warm coat - its cold here!

I'll be there tomorrow too! :) Wonder if we are staying at the same hotel? I already took a second test though...hoping I won't have to take a third one! Ugh! Lol

Awesome Chele! I'll see you there! You're probably going to be there for training. They do the whole process at the same time for me because I'm coming from so far away - I just have to take the 2nd test first - if I bomb, they'll be sending me back home on Tuesday

Chele, it sounds like you will be starting training and/or the benefit class since you already passed the 2nd test.

I don't know how much actual training on the work you will be doing, but keep in mind we type things in a bit of a different way. At first you will think you will never get it and could never be productive. I know I did. Just stick with it. Everyone of us went through it. Everyone involved in the training is so supportive. You will start to type our way in no time and you will be so glad you did. I def found my forever job here.

The second test is part of the potential hiring process. This has been about 3 weeks in the making. They're flying me in because they don't have centers close to where I live - I'm in Massachusetts. coming from here, believe me - I know about cold! We just had a snowstorm up here.

I'm in PA! We had a huge storm as well...I'm driving there though since I'm only about 5 hours away :) I was lucky enough to take the second test close to home...I know others have to go to VA to test though...good luck!!!!

Please relax about the test. I am sure you will do just fine. Take your time and don't rush through it. It is more important to be correct that quick. Back up the tape and proof the report. It will be okay :)

Will you be driving from the airport to the hotel, or do they have a shuttle picking you up?

I sent the test in last night and was wondering how long it would take to expect to hear back if I passed? (I'm doubtful if I did as I had to leave several blanks in 2 of the 5 reports)

I have to say this is the hardest test I've ever taken!!!! Horrible!

Thank you for asking. I did pass the 2nd test and I got the job! I have to work out my 2-week notice back home, but it's totally worth it. The group of ladies I trained this week were awesome, and everybody at the administrative offices was great. It's going to take some time to get used to their system, but it is definitely not an MTSO!

So happy for you! I pray that will be me one day. I got the email stating if they were interested in an interview, they would contact me. I don't know if that means I did pass the typing portion of the first test or not. Anyway, it sounds like a wonderful place to work. Good luck!

Congrats! I'm so happy for you and hope to get on with them, too!

Hopeful, I got the same email after I applied and found out that most don't hear back from them until around a week to six weeks after applying.

It has been a couple of weeks and honestly, I'm not too hopeful. That was my first test ever and it seemed to be very hard. I left several blanks. I'm coming from fourteen years as an IC for a specialist and I'm finding applying for these big companies to be daunting and disheartening.

My former doctor and I worked as a team and I just felt like Patient First would be the closest thing to that again.

No more nagging about line counts and MUP when they can't even pay me minimum wage (although mine is the second highest in the nation). I got an email from HR today that my husband was 'accidentally' added back on my insurance. Note that he has not been on my insurance for almost a year. How this happened I have no idea. I know some of you are on lockdown already and for that you have my utmost sympathy and empathy. We are supposed to start tomorrow. There are NO HOURS on the swap board and we have been running into NJA every day since MQ did the management shuffle. I have my resumes out and took some tests this weekend.
