What a relief. Tomorrow is my last day. - anon

I turned in my resignation 2 weeks ago and my last day is tomorrow. No more nagging about line counts and MUP when they can't even pay me minimum wage (although mine is the second highest in the nation). I've done this work for almost 9 years now and have enjoyed it, but the pay is just getting too low and I'm sure I can find something better in another field. Good luck to you all.

I so WISH tomorrow was my last day with Nuance!! I'm desperately trying to get out. I'm on the right track so far and I'm headed out the door just as soon as I get school/financial aid set up (in the process) and just as soon as I find a part-time or full-time job doing WHATEVER I can find for minimum wage. I don't even care if it's in fast food, convenience store, gas station, etc. I'm barely scraping the minimum wage now for my state with Nuance, so I might as well work at a local job in my community for minimum wage and at least I'll know that when I go to work and finish my shift, my damn day will be over with when I clock out from that job. With Nuance, I'm clocking in and clocking out for 12 hours or more JUST to try and get an 8-hour shift in. Seems like I'm ALWAYS working and that this jobs NEVER ends.

I'm so tired, so frustrated, and so full of anxiety every day because ALL I do is sit in front of this stupid computer. I miss my family time day in and day out. If I'm going to continue to miss out on my family time, I'm going to make sure it's doing something productive for ME, like working for minimum wage AND going back to school..

Enough is enough for me with Nuance!!

I'm interviewing tomorrow morning with Amphion. Even after all of these years in the MT business, I admit that while I'm excited, I'm also a bit nervous. Has anyone else interviewed with Amphion recently and can clue me in on what to expect? I was told the interview process would take about 30 minutes but no other details. I got an email from HR today that my husband was 'accidentally' added back on my insurance. Note that he has not been on my insurance for almost a year. How this happened I have no idea.
