Based on how much work there is, FT gets priority, then PT, then IC. If the work load is low, they will not let PT work. I hope someone here can offer more information about this.

Were you able to participate today in the call? I heard it on the call. I am hoping other people who participated will have more information. The question was asked, and it was answered. Since there were separate calls for different accounts, maybe the question was not asked at all calls. I know that sounds strange, and I hope someone else heard this information also.

I heard it as -- if you are IC and work was low, FT was given first preference and you may be asked not to work if IC...

I don't understand why that would come as a surprise to anyone. If any employer has FT, PT and IC workers, the work should go to the FT worker first.

I heard very clearly that if work is slow IC goes first (as in being told not to get on system), then PT, and that FT will always have preference to get work in WHEN WORK IS SLOW.

I wasn't happy and feel forced to choose FT over my first choice of IC, just so I can guarantee work, but this a basic How It Is kinda thing, and not like it is unusual, really.

I've been with Transcend for 5 years and never, ever heard that from anyone and I have/do work on multiple platforms. If that is the case they better tell the rest of the employees...

So, we're scheduled for an upcoming conference call and have to be clocked off but will get paid forour time. So . . . do we get paid that ridiculously low PTO time that obviously is getting lowered for practically all of us every 6 months? Does anyone find it strange that 99% of us have had our PTO pay cut soooo much over the years? Might be a good time to bring it up, during the conference calls, so that we can all chime in about it at the same time. ...

So if you disagree with a QA score done within the last week of the quarter, you are out of luck. So even if they are wrong you lose your QA bonus for 3 months. QA is horrific at this company and the quarterly thing is unfair. Supposedly they are "talking" about changing it back to monthly, maybe we should all give a little push for that !!! ...

Let me get this straight! There are still more MTs in-house than outsourced. We all need to apply to hospitals and clinics. Maybe if MModal hired fewer employees from Microsoft they could afford to pay transcriptionist better and allow for cost of living raises. I have been a transcriptionist for going on 30 years and this company is one of the reasons we can't make a living wage. So as they were all taking names and everyone talking over each other, whose QA do you suppose will be extra stringent this week? Hmmmm????? This was SUCH a load of crap! ...to announce she (KK) has been promoted to a team scheduling type of position at MM starting early next month and another HDSM by the initials of KM will be taking over for KK. According to KK, KM is really nice and there are other MTs who are excited that she is taking over for KK. Whatever.
