Anyone had any experience with uScribe? Good or bad? Got an offer to work for them.

They are not Indian-owned. In the past, they had accounts that were based out of the United Kingdom and Ireland and extremely short reports. In order to make decent money, you had to do at least 100 reports a day and I ended up leaving. However, I believe they have expanded their operations to include some facilities in the US

been with them a couple months now, working on eScription platform- they are based out of FL, several new accounts - working flexible hours and all the extra time I want especially late evenings and weekends. all IC positions so you have to pay your own taxes but that works for me as I do have a FT job and this is just supplemental

Are you sure you work there? I worked for them a few weeks. It was a disaster. I constantly got new dictators and although the London dictators weren't THAT awful, the Irish were impossible. Also had to look up names and addresses on the IRisn dictation - took forever because of their spelling versus their strange pronounciation. I wasn't given any flexibiity in work time at all - you had to give a schedule and stick to it. I worked my butt off and didn't even make minimum wage. Horrible dictation, inefficient management.

I would suggest that if most of the posts are negative and there is a lone one singing contradictory praises, you might consider that the lone voice praising might be emanating from a suit.

So far it's okay, not wonderful, but better than last company. Not paid yet so can't quantify that question. No Irish dictators, some bad Indian ones.

Just wanted to see if anyone has worked for Uscribe and get some feedback, what I saw was mixed, thinking of applying, but not sure about this company since I've never heard of them and if they are new, offshore presence, etc. I just want to have plenty of work and be left alone to do my work and make a living and cannot seem to find a company that will offer enough work to make a living wage. Anyone currently working for Uscribe on this Ireland/UK account? I am and for 8 cpl these people are dreaming and they don't give you your line count until the end of the pay period so you have no idea how much money you are making on a daily basis. They are nice people, and the operations manager is one of the nicest ones I've come across. Was at Fast Chart and many talk about over staffed! There is a hospital in my area that has 2 jobs I am interested in, one is a records analyst and the other is a records clerk. I have been noticing that the experience level required to even get looked at for an MT job has went up. The 2 year experience mark has now went to 3 in most postings, and alot more postings are stating they want a minimum of 5 years. It is an up hill battle in an already hard market but with these kind of requirements I supose the seasoned MT's can rest a little easier and the newbies I guess can look for another line of work. I am trying to figure why I never get a call-back on job applications anymore. For instance I applied at one company who was advertising a week or so ago, I'm sure I did perfectly or almost so on the test, never heard from them, and yet now they are advertising again. My range is not great, mostly ER and clinic, so maybe this is the issue but I have applied for these positions recently to no avail. it's the old question - how to get acute care experience that everyone wants - when none of the local hospitals are hiring for MT (I've checked). I could try "cold calling" doctor's offices and see who does their transcription (unless they have some kind of digital chart system - fill in the appropriate boxes on their laptops - I think our family doc uses that system). I was working 40 hours per week as an oncology transcriber until the company I worked for was outsourced by Nuance. Now, I am trying to find another transcribing job that does not require 2+ years of experience. I only have about 15 months of experience in oncology.
