Interested in medical transcription - Ash

I am an RN of 11 years, currently working full time in the OR and looking for a secondary job that I can do from home to earn some extra income. I have always been interested in medical transcription and am just looking for some input as to whether it is a good field to go into, worth the education, just some general information and experiences others have had. Postive and negative input is welcome.
