Can someone help answer a question about HIPAA? After doing medical transcription for 35+ years and being able to see our work available on different accounts, all of the sudden our company said it was a HIPAA violation to see available work, which only includes job number, MR and/or account number, type of report, and doc name. Anyone else seeing their work available? Ours is blocked suddenly, and now our company is sending out e-mails 3 times a day (when they remember) to let us see what accounts have work. I have never in my life heard of such a thing!! What is the violation? HIPAA violation is the excuse we have been given when all of us asked about why it's blocked suddenly.
