...Was that these type of jobs (coding, tumor registry) are being sent offshore and domestic on-site jobs are being downsized. I'm sure that there is good money to be made, but in some cases you are no longer an employee but a contractor working for an unknown entity without benefits or other perks offered by brick and mortar employers. I think tumor registry is more difficult to break into than coding. I personally saw tumor registry at the facility where I worked downsized from a staff of 4 to a staff of 1 because the work was sent offshore.
