same response: "No one else is complaining" or "I haven't heard anyone else mention it". Bologna. I think the iPlayer is too old to process the new sound technology and causes all that background shushing noise. I doubt it was limited to the insurance account. It had to have affected their other clients' recordings as well.
I hate struggling with transcription when I can compare it to the good old days when tapes and hand-held recorders were clear as a bell. It has become a job in which medical assistants and nursing students "scribe" for experience.
On a good note, it took a month but I found a new job and couldn't be happier. I was worried that I would have to get a job at my local grocery store. I prefer to stay at home away from COVID-19.
