So, I tested with this company a couple of weeks ago. I was told that they received my test and would be in touch later that week as soon as they made their selections of who they were going to hire. I was told that I would hear back from them regardless. Two weeks and two followup emails sent to them later, I have not heard a single peep. They have not responded to my inquiries at all. Since when do companies find it perfectly acceptable to outright ignore applicants who have tested and not give them an answer? If I didn't get the job, fine. Just tell me. My feelings will not be hurt. I'm a big girl. I can handle rejection, but to just leave me hanging high and dry and completely cut off all communication after I took their test is just plain rude and wrong. I find it very cowardly and unprofessional of them to not respond at all, especially after I poitely reached out to them twice to try and follow up. I took the time out of my busy day and put in the effort to take their test. The very least they could do is muster up the courtesy to tell me one way or the other so I am not left wondering. Plus, their test was a huge pain as it was web-based and you cannot use a foot pedal, but I pushed through it and got it done.
Sorry. I had to vent. I am just so sick of these companies who don't even treat us like human beings and think that our time is not the least bit valuable.
