I see. Although I know CR's make a lot of money, I don't think it's for me. But I appreciate the suggestion.
Can you tell me more about proofreading? How long was the online course you took and what was the cost? How lucrative was it? I am becoming concerned about how little money I would make to start with scoping. I have to make at least $400 a week to help pay bills in our household. Do you think it's possible to make that in scoping when just starting out? The one school I talked to said I would have to hire a proofreader for at least 3 months, so between payments on the software and training, the yearly tech support cost, and paying a proofreader AND really taking my time when scoping, I am afraid I won't be able to make the money I need to for a while. I don't mind putting the time in to get my speed up, just like MT, but just wonder how long I will struggle to bring in enough money.
I am just exploring all my options here, as far as is proofreading a viable option. I really appreciate all the information you are providing me with! It is extremely helpful!
