Hmmm! No thought of "padding", just making things clear. Never knew that editing messed with speech recognition. You would think that my boss might mention that. I was taught to make complete sentences when transcribing. There are so many different ways of transcribing these days, one never knows. I have worked for several companies (which I promptly left) because their QA people could not get together and agree on one set of rules for all. Gad, I miss the good old days, even if I did have to use a typewriter!
