account specs as it pertains to adding "the" in front of patient. Some accounts want that and some do not. We have always been told what the client wants overrides Book of Style, etc. I do add the word is in lab values when let's say a value is T3 4. That would be to avoid confusion. Old habits are very hard to break, but I would make sure you're following account specs.
