are in a severely delusional state. It will never come back the way it was. How long are you prepared to wait? A year, 2, 4, 5, 10 years?
How long has it been going downhill now, and how bad has it gotten? How much has it improved, how many new jobs at good pay are available nowdays?
You all may as well get over it and either move on or stay stuck where you are in your low-paid, poorly treated MT fantasy world of typing for pennies and barely able to pay your bills.
Some of you claim how well you're doing, and if that's true you'd better count your blessings at night because despite some of you claiming you're "in the know" about everything or you have such a good relationship with your MTSO, you don't know what's going on for that company financially or with the owners personally and that comfy little rug may be pulled out from under you at any time without warning. Then there's all the boo hoo, "is anybody hiring" posts.
MT isn't the only job in the world, and it sure the H isn't the only online job you can do at home.
Some of you are so stuck in that mindset of transcription is the absolute gold standard of your life and you're so critically important and you're saving lives with your job, nobody else can do this as well as you can so you continue to martyr yourselves.
