References are impossible in MT. I have a ton of experience in acute care, clinic and special procedures and I will test because I understand it to be a substitute for references. I don't where 95% of my former lead transcriptionists, supervisors and MTSO owners are. There have been too many who have left the field, many of the companies were gobbled up by mergers, and many have retired. When I see an ad requesting references, I just move o - that tells me that person doesnt know what is going on in the MT world.
