POP-Q exams - bt10ant Posted: Sep 6th, 2017 - 11:41 am
Hi, all
I have a gynecologic urology client who has switched to the POP-Q exam nomenclature. A typical sentence would be "There is poor support at the anterior wall on pelvic exam with site Aa at -1 and site Ba at +2." I get the anatomy from the new charts available on line. My question is whether the numerals are degrees and need a degree sign or not. Anyone know? I have looked on line and found samples both ways, but don't see anything definitive. Thanks very much.
