Am considering taking SS early, but staying PT. Are you forced to work weekends if you are PT? Also if you want to take time off, do you still have to put in for a PTO request, even though PT doesn't get PTO? Have an opportunity to take a trip east for 2 weeks and have no PTO anyway. I can always go back to being a substitute teacher if I have too. Pay is not as good, but weekends, holidays, and summers off. I only do elementary school too. I have the utmost respect for people who can sub for anything higher, but I can't handle the older kids.
