TTS employees.... - How do you feel

on finding out earlier today that we WILL NOT be paid for downtime?  I for one am extremely pissed off.  They suggest we use our PTO - not going to happen because that is MY hard earned time off, not their emergency I-don't-feel-like-paying-you fund.  They also suggest we file for unemployment - Ha!  As if their pay wasn't already crappy enough, now they suggest I try to take care of my family on an unemployment benefit check that is only a fraction of the junk pay I was making to begin with?!  Have they not told us to keep our eye out for when more work comes in so as to help with the backlog?  Doesn't that mean I've essentially been on call for the last week?  But you're telling me I don't get paid for that?  Wow.  How is it that Nuance's employees are at least covered by their hourly rate for the downtime, but TTS employees are not?  Of course they'd rather be hit up for unemployment than the bigger chunk of change they would have to pay for all of my hours lost.  I think it's time to seek legal advice on this one.
