I don't know what that's supposed to mean, but if they think that my filing an unemployment claim equals my resignation, their assumption is terribly wrong. I have the right to file for unemployment in my state without fear of retaliation or being threatened or harassed. Are they really assuming that if we file UE that means we voluntarily quit? Is it some kind of ultimatum? I don't know. I don't get it. This is why we need the advice of the DOL. I sent them a message as well and I will be calling tomorrow. I just need some answers.
