I know, right? - What a mess.

I talked to a rep with the Department of Labor this morning and she basically told me that it is legit. Just like I already knew in the back of my mind, they would get away with doing such. They have been in business and gotten away with it for too long for it to be illegal and sure enough, it's a loophole kind of situation. I guess all I can do at this point is put my pride aside and collect my vacation time, file unemployment, and look for a better job. I have been angry for days, I've worried, I've cried - none of which has helped me. I guess I just have to chalk it up as a lesson learned and move on. I just wanted to try to bring up anything I could to make life better for another MT who may be going through such a thing. It'll be okay though - I have a supportive husband and family by my side and I have given this to God and I will be okay. :)
