I "used" to jump at every chance to do OT, no matter what I had planned, no matter what the time, etc. Then I would get my paycheck and see how little I actually made and how hard I worked and I was exhausted and things fell behind and I realized I was just being a puppet for this horrible company and stopped doing it. Never again, no more.
MM is hiring outside ICs to do the work from facilities using Emdat, etc. I am sure they don't want to pay OT to their already employed MTs (who by the way have been screaming about NJA for I don't know how long)and going to work these people to death.
I hope no one comes forth to help them. I know we need to make money and being out of work all week, really takes a blow on your finances and if these companies were decent they would reimburse you somehow, (but that remains to be seen).
So when they yell for OT, turn off your computer at the end of your shift and don't look back. MM you deserve whatever disloyal treatment you get from your employees. You have jerked us around too long, to feel any loyalty to you, unless you send me a check ASAP for $500.00 as a bonus, then I might consider it. :o) (Yeah right).
