It seems that most of the MT companies that are talked about on this board are at poverty wages and often OOW even though they still advertise as currently hiring. Also, from what I've seen here, after following posts for over a year and searching through the archives, is there ARE companies that are decent with good pay (though nowhere near what it used to be) but no one is willing to name these companies. I've seen a few ads for local temp agencies for transcriptionists before. You might want to check with any near you. If you can work outside the home, they may have other opportunities that interest you as well. Good luck! I think most of us here are pretty much in the same boat.
