what a joke that was. There was never enough work to justify being on a schedule. I spent more time sitting around looking at this board just to pass the time of day. I worked at a different company now, and what a huge difference to actually have 8 hours or work to type (strictly straight typing, no VR). That over-hiring thing is just annoying. When I was there, I figured all the other transcriptionists had second income households, as I could never pay my bills with such little pay. I never had the problem of not getting paid. It just wasn't enough. I lasted maybe two months.
