I am in the same boat. What I will say is that the DOL said there are standards that an IC has to meet and to save any email regarding this as they would be interested in it (I read it to her). I asked her further about taking PTO for not meeting required lines and she said it was not right but to be sure she referred me to another DOL'r. I have a call in to them as well but no answer yet.
