Laid off in CA - Kowabunga

Pray tell how did you get severance pay? If they lay me off, I'll be surprised if they don't nix the unemployment. I have the sick leave issue here plus the minimum wage went up a bit, plus I am retirement age this month, eek!! I really think the whole company is going to implode on themselves, and well deserved.
