Mass. has no such plans to raise it higher than that. So I think it most DEFINITELY is the main reason CA employees got laid off. That along with all the FAIR labor laws. Of course if you work 2 mins past 8 hours you get OT...WHY wouldn't you? It would only be 2 mins' worth!
They WILL NOT stop with laying off JUST CA employees. They will go down the line until the have a skeleton crew here..IF THAT....they are ACTIVELY working to get more and more hired in India. They will just lay off in waves until that happens.
