I have noticed a trend here that all the women being harassed by audit problems are all later in their careers (so older women). Maybe are they self-funding our healthcare and deliberately targeting any of us that would be more expensive?

The beginning of 2016, I started getting failed audit after failed audit (after greater than 10 years of nearly perfect accuracy). I think they added an algorithm in document checker that flags for obvious things (labs out of range, date mistakes, missing date of service when a date was dictated at beginning of report) as those are the things I was getting caught on in my audits.

My take... Auditing is no longer random and you are getting audited on reports that were flagged by document checker. Since I have started double checking those obvious things that a computer could flag... my audits are all passing with flying colors again. Good luck all.
