Depending on your internet provider, slow downloads in the evening could be just that, more traffic on internet you use....I used to have the same issue once 4 p.m. hit, kept track of the speed periodically, and demanded they provide me with the speed I was paying for.....then switched to wi-fi and no issues, love it. Check speed during the early hours compared to evening hours and keep a log. I never have issues with downloading any time of day using wi-fi but did with Verizon and Frontier.
