If there is no work during our shift we should get paid our benefit rate anyway. They should want to provide us work and if not they should pay us anyway. Oh wait, I was actually thinking of a company that cared about their employees. Mmodal only pays that because certain states make them pay it. The rest of us they let fend for ourselves.
When I told the unemployment office that I was working 12+ hours to get in 8 hours of work because I was out of PTO and my 104 hours they could not believe it. It just seems illegal somehow.
