For instance, if there are 40 MTs scheduled from 8-5 but only 10 scheduled in evening hours, they are basically trying to force you to cover the hours where there is less coverage. I've also noticed complete 8 hour shifts on our board, posted when someone takes time off.
I used to try to use the swap board, but I have stopped over the past few pay periods. I just keep going past my scheduled shift if I need to get time in.
I'm in a different pod than you are, but if I wait to to make up my time on Friday and Saturday nights or Sundays, not only does it interfere with my other job, but I am slap worn out.
I understand the reasons behind them wanting us to use the board, but it's not realistic most of the time and I don't think it's policy. Not YET anyway.....
