You are assuming the MT's in India are illiterate morons. I mean, yeah, it would make us all feel better if that were true. And it is true the struggle greatly with colloquial language but they do okay, as good as 75% of American MTs, with medical terminology.

I say this having QA'd quite a lot of off-shore work.

I stuck it out in this field for far longer than I should have thinking that there were things they could never take away. And, maybe there is a grain of truth in it but I simply no longer care. I am getting out and anyone who has more than 5-10 years left in their working career should highly consider doing the same, unless minimum wage, terrible benefits and hours is something you enjoy.
