The same characteristics that make them good at being an MT, make them poor candidates for ever standing up for themselves, which of course is exactly what the MTSO's want.

The best thing an MT can do today is to just walk away from the non-profession that is MT. There is more prestige and self satisfaction in being a grocery bagger than there is being an MT in today's world.
