The direct quote is, "I don't have to do this, I don't like to do this" and telling prospective clients something like that comes across sounding a tad arrogant. Thanks for the explanation, but it still might be time for the OP to find greener pastures and do something she actually enjoys after being miserable for 45 years. I'm sure she's good at what she does, but no one is indispensable and life goes on. Do what you love, the money will follow.
