My attitude belongs to me, not the client, and how I feel about my work is my business, not theirs. My only responsibility is to keep my end of the bargain if I agree to it, and the client's responsibility is to PAY ME.
Adjustment of my feelings to love my job are not included in the contract. If that ever becomes a requirement, my rate is going to have to at least quadruple, or those feelings will be utterly insincere and it won't be a bargain made in good faith.
Since the client won't get any better service from me, just a rah-rah attitude, I just don't think that is going to happen.
