hates MT. It seems that what she hates is what the profession has become. She refuses to accept the ridiculous rates some of these services want to pay and work for less money than she probably made 20 years ago. It is just a personal choice. I absolutely love MT, when my clients are willing to pay me when I tell them what I charge, but if they won't I won't take the job because I know I will not love it. I am not going to be reduced to an MT taking less money than my work is worth just because I am desperate to stay in the field or work from home. This is what I hear the OP saying, and I'm with her on that.
