Skipping Silences in Editscript - turned off? Posted: Oct 21st, 2015 - 10:12 am
I have noticed in one account that I do on Editscript that whether the Skip Silences is checked or not, there are very long, sometimes minutes at a time of dead silence - I asked the TSM about it - she said that we shouldn't use it anyway because we can mistakenly miss dictation - is it possible that this is a function that can be simply "switched off" so it doesn't work whether it is checked or not? I find my line count in this particular account to be alot less because of the time spent waiting for them to speak. It is the only account that I have noticed this - same version of Editscript - just a different TSM.
