NOT to offer this service unless requested by the client. In 20 years as an IC, I never offered to create their own specs and I never had one complaint. I basically followed BOS, didn't use dangerous abbreviations and the doctors just plain did not care. I think most of them still don't care as long as it is correct.
What do these MTSOs do when selling their services, as a million questions like: Do you want "b.i.d." "twice a day" "twice per day" or "two times a day?"
The only options I asked clients about were font, point size and format for reports and letters.
