Confused - confused

Has anyone else been told they had to learn a new platform/account  because their account is losing work and at the same time received emails they need more MLS working on their original account as there is too much work and not enough MLS on it?  Had that happen to me this week and wondering why.  Also was told required to do VRE even though account is not VRE.
