Hiring a person to work 2 days a week in my home for house cleaning. One lady I talked with told me she charges $25.00 an hour. My house work does not include washing dishes, mopping floors, doing windows, nothing hard. I laughed and said no way was I paying that amount when as a trained, highly trained, person that I am along with others here are making far, far less. I do not live in a ritzy part of town and I would doubt seriously she would get that even then. I do acute care and my work, although not manual, is extremely hard a lot of days. Good luck.
