oromucolingual masikatory movements. Is this how it should be spelled. - hb

Posted: Apr 17, 2011

This is a psych report.  The doctor says, "The patietn has no oromucolingual masikatory movements."  I just wondered if this was the correct way to spell this becuase i am not finding many references for it anywhere.

I meant to type masticatory movements - hb

I meant to type masticatory movements, but the part i am questioning is the oromuccolingual. I am wondering if it should be oral-buccal-lingual masticatory movements.

Mar 02, 2010

This is an ortho doc and he is saying the pt "is having nocturnally exacerbated tremors or "valythmic" type movements in the upper and lower extremities".  End of word definitely sounds like "lythmic", it's just the first part I can't get.  It's not rhythmic, too many syllables.  Could possibly start with a "b", it's that type of "v" or "b" sound. Thanks very much... :) ...
