alert for time card - ee

Please, can you tell me how to put an alert on my time card? I had to clock out early today and my CCM said put an alert on the time card. I dont know what to do, have never did this before. I went to my time card and do not see anywhere where I can put an alert. Any help is truly appreciated. Thank you.

go to your time card, then go to your timesheet for the appropriate days, click on that, then go to the detailed times of days, each day has its own time in and time out and then go to today, if this is the day you want, on the day it says clock, click on that, then a new box will come up and you will want to leave a message for your ccm and then mark the box that says to alert them and then after you are done it will show on that day a couple of exclamation points in red on that day. hope this doesn't sound too hard, it's not tough at all. In fact, I just got done doing it also, cuz I made a mistake on my timecard.

click on the timesheets and click on the word clock (in blue letters) under heading "type" for the date/time you are needing alert sent. Type the reason for alert and what the time should look like on timesheet in the box that comes up, (employee notes), put a check mark in the "alert manager" box, and click on "flag as error" in red letters at the top right of the box, then click save and you should see a !! on the time sheet for the date you are referring to.

don't flag as error or it says on there it will remove the hours, just check the box to alert manager on the bottom right area and then save

I have always clicked the "flag as error" and it leaves the red !! so CCM knows there is a problem, have not noticed anything about removing the hours. I just go by the instructions given me by CCM. I will check on this the next time I do a correction, thanx.

Jaz, if you click on flag as error, it will bring up a box that says: Change status to ERROR? This will remove the hours from timesheets and then you can either ok or cancel.

I was told the same thing, but not how to actually do it! Don't you just love the way the CCMs explain everything to make our job easier? I hope with all the changes that mine is fired because she is a worthless person taking up air and space! You have to email her at least 3-4 times for anything before you get an answer.

It has been so long that I have had downtime, can anyone tell me how it should be applied to the time card? I am just looking over my timecard and it just hit me that possibly it may not be right how it is entered into my time card. a correction to be made (it's been 3 days!). I'm wondering if I should go ahead and approve it anyway, even though if I do I will be short 3 hours for the week w/o the correction. I received a "critical error" alert that I used the word granulation instead of granular in a report that was by a heavy ESL. Seriously? That's a critical error? As a FYI I relistened and it still sounds like granulation so I've sent it to the manager for review. Either way ....it would not compromise patient care! ...
