What I don't get is how with all this red... - They keep signing hospital after hospital.

Maybe hospitals don't really actually care about their TAT? Things that make you go hmm.

Staffing and TAT have always been an issue with this company. One of my accounts was given to India because there were not enough MLSs on the account. That account swiftly came back to us and is still SOSing. Can you imaging a doctor doing what we do on front end with Nuance's software? It wreaks of disaster. My prediction is that this will be the demise of Nuance.

It speaks volumes why such a large national company can't find enough experienced MTs to work for them when so many are looking for jobs. For example, I know they subcontract to TTS in NH. However, instead of trying to attract employees, they keep making changes that drive them away. You just have to wonder where this is headed.

That is cut, cut, cut. Cut our pay (don't we know that has happened). Cut our bonuses (every chance they get). And now it appears that when people leave (many seem to be either leaving or trying to leave) they are either willfully not replacing them to make the balance sheet look good or else they just can't get anyone to come on board because their reputation precedes them. They need to make the tiny line item on their huge balance sheet that is medical transcription as low as possible.

Rumors of Apple buying them, being forced to sell. Apple would not want us, but Nuance still want to get the best price, so nonessential items need to be punched down to make the total balance sheet look good. That's what I'm guessing anyway, but I really know nothing, only that when my company was sold to Nuance similar crappy changes started happening.

I honestly think it's headed straight for a major - IMPLOSION. (nm)

My company was acquired by Nuance a few months back and so far the only thing that has changed has been e-mail addresses. Paystubs even still reflect our original company name. Will they keep our proprietary platform or make us change to eScription soon? Also, we're all ICs. Does anyone know if we will be required to become Nuance employees at the first of the year? ...

On 10/8/13 I downloaded Antivirus Security Pro per instructions and they immediately charged my credit card $99.99. It was started that I was automatically granted a 12-month access in which to re-download at any time. I did a complete scan by Norton 360 last night and it listed a high risk threat: editscript mt.msi "compressed threats." Anyone know anything about this? I received a "critical error" alert that I used the word granulation instead of granular in a report that was by a heavy ESL. Seriously? That's a critical error? As a FYI I relistened and it still sounds like granulation so I've sent it to the manager for review. Either way ....it would not compromise patient care! ...

With the number feature, we just do Ctrl Sft L and all that is put in, but now we will not get paid for typing these and we will not get paid for the commands either... Same with the headings. After reading the emails below, I had to post. After starting with Nuance, getting great QA reviews, great post audit reviews, and thinking I was doing well - I have gotten THREE major alert emails in 2 days. I have since discovered these were reviewed by Offshore QA. Why? Do we not have enough reviewers onshore? I think I am going to do what a poster below suggested and block them. I don't see that having the reviews come through helps me in any way. I have also noticed that some of these jobs have been QCd twice for some reason - and it is not a post audit. I only have an hour window between my 2nd shift job and the 3rd shift job, and I try to sneak in a nap, but after a couple of hours I find myself yawning and losing focus. Coffee doesn't seem to help nor do any of the energy drinks. So far, 5 minutes of jumping jacks or something every hour has helped the most, but I still feel I am not at my best (and my production shows it).
