Filed a Remedy complaint about the new spellcheck - Apparently I am the only one with an issue

First tech wanted to go over with me how to actually do it. I told Sanjeep no thanks I already took the tutorial, I know how to do it, I was just filing a complaint that the new spellcheck is time consuming and redundant and costing me money. Why must I hit spell check minimum of 2 times for each report and why must it stop on every mandatory heading with no way to bypass them? Why does it spellcheck the entire report twice when you try to split a job? Why did they decide to use Shift-Alt for the keystrokes when we have been using Ctrl-Alt all this time? First Sanjeep told me there have been no complaints about the new spellcheck. Then he told me to talk to my manager. My manager told me to fill out a Remedy ticket and file a complaint. Does anyone know what is going on in this company? Next time I really wish they would test this stuff out on people who actually use the program rather than some programming guru who thinks he knows what we need rather than actually giving us stuff we don't. The age thing is good. Should have left it there. Quit blaming the people who actually use it and quit telling us we are the only ones with issues. Take the criticism and fix it.

Then again, I don't use the keyboard functions (I use my mouse), and I don't do the spellcheck the way they showed us in the tutorial, first going through the headings, skipping through the misspelled/unrecognized words, etc. I don't understand why the format had to change. I think that's ridiculous, but I guess the programmers needed to do something to verify their paychecks so I can't fault them for that.

That being said, it does take me a couple of seconds longer for each report, which might add up to 5-10 minutes longer over the course of an 8-hour day, which is annoying, but out of all the "upgrades" we've had, this one is the one that has cost me less $$ in the long run.

In my experience, it doesn't do any good to complain as our complaints just fall on deaf ears and it ends up frustrating me more.

I sent a ticket on the same thing. It is ridiculous, when it is done and I have clicked through all the blasted stops then it should send it. I shouldn't have to upload it again. I hate the stupid thing, and it does take more time.

I got an email back saying how their primary goal is to "delight our customers" and our opinions and suggestions truly matter, and then asked me to fill out their stupid survey.

Okay, so do they really think they are going to get stellar marks on a survey for not fixing the issue I complained about?

Turns out my weekly benefit is MORE than I was making at MM before I got laid off, at least recently. I'm guessing it's because I made more before and slowly but surely my pay kept going down down down. Apparently the UI benefit is based on an average of what you made all year or something. All I know is that by getting laid off, I am actually going to make much more than I did as of late. Isn't that a hoot. Good riddance M-Modal! ...
